New Here
what we're about...
We're all about Jesus. For life. It's more than a slogan.
Jesus. He's our heartbeat. He's the one who loves us, made us and saved us. We live for Him.
For Life. Jesus makes life worth living. He helps us live in a way that works. Guilt doesn’t plague, shame doesn’t follow. The present is clearer, the future secure. There is something about being loved unconditionally that helps you get up in the morning.
Come and see for yourself.
what to expect...
It’s a bit daunting visiting a new Church for the first time. We try and make church as welcoming as we can to everyone, whatever your background. We're a pretty laid back bunch, so our services are relaxed and informal, whilst still being structured enough to help us to focus on the majesty of Jesus. If you’re coming for the first time, here’s what to expect:
- You will be welcomed by someone at the Front door. Hopefully they'll be able to answer any questions you might have about Church. You'll also be given a welcome pack including some information that may be helpful for you to know about our church, as well as a free gift - just to say thanks for coming.
- You'll notice that everyone is dressed pretty comfortably, in anything from semi-formal to shorts and T-shirts.
- Our Church services generally comprise of: singing songs that remind us of who God is and what he has done for us; a Bible talk that helps us to understand and apply the Bible in a relevant way; a time of prayer for our families & our world
- During our 9:30am service, we run a kids church for those from creche to year 6. These are great places for kids to interact with one another and recieve age-appropriate Bible teaching.
- There is also a Cry Room if your little ones become too unsettled. You can still hear & see everything that goes on in the service.
After Church we hang around for morning tea and a chat. We hope you'll join us one Sunday and more importantly, that you'll choose to make this your home church. You'll soon learn that we're not perfect; but fortunately, we've been saved by the One who is.
